A propos de Philip
Philip Bunting is an Australian author, illustrator, and father of three tiny bookworms, based in the Noosa hinterland. Philip was born in the Lake District, in the far-north west of England. He grew up just around the corner from Mr McGregor’s garden, a mile or so down the valley from Mrs Tiggywinkle’s house, and only a short row from Owl Island. It’s fair to say that a childhood spent growing up in the Lake District means that children’s literature is in his blood.
Philip’s first book – Mopoke – was published in 2017, and was awarded Picture Book of the Year (Honour Book) at the 2018 Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards.
Since Mopoke, Philip has had many books published, including Sandcastle, How Did I Get Here?, Koalas Eat Gum Leaves (written by his better half Laura Bunting), and most recently Another Book About Bears (with Laura Bunting, again).

Philip est né dans le Lake District, dans l'extrême nord-ouest de l'Angleterre. Il a grandi juste au coin du jardin de M. McGregor, à environ un kilomètre dans la vallée de la maison de Mme Tiggywinkle, et à seulement une courte rangée de Owl Island. Il est juste de dire qu’une enfance passée à grandir dans le Lake District signifie que la littérature pour enfants est dans son sang.
Le premier livre de Philip, Mopoke, a été publié en 2017 et a reçu le prix du livre d’images de l’année (livre d’honneur) aux 2018 Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards.
