Moved to Washington D.C and then London
Moved to Paris and earned degrees in law at Sciences Po and in English literature at the Sorbonne, before deciding to become an artist at the late age of 25.
Learned his craft on the job, illustrating newspapers, magazines, and numerous books, many of which were for young readers. Much - but not all - of Marcelino's focuses on Asia and especially Vietnam.
