Marcelino Truong
  • Born in the Philippines, 1957

  • Moved to Washington D.C and then London

  • Moved to Paris and earned degrees in law at Sciences Po and in English literature at the Sorbonne, before deciding to become an artist at the late age of 25. 

  • Learned his craft on the job, illustrating newspapers, magazines, and numerous books, many of which were for young readers. Much - but not all - of Marcelino's focuses on Asia and especially Vietnam.
